How did it go? (and $250 Best Buy Giveaway!)

This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Intel.

**Giveaway Closed!  Thank you for entering!! The winner of the giveaway is Peace Love and Pets!!  Congrats!**

I recently told you about the laptop that BlogHer sent me that was powered by the Intel® Core™ i5 processor and I'm back to tell you my experience with it! I can honestly say that it's pretty awesome! I've used older PC's before and I always noticed a lag time when opening programs and working on large spreadsheets but this laptop with the new processor definitely made a difference. For work, I was able to work on several spreadsheets at once and then even edit photos with those spreadsheets open and everything went quite smoothly! My screens didn't freeze and I didn't have to restart at all. I mean, if you've used a PC before, I'm sure you've had to deal with that at least a few times! I really liked how well the processor work because that meant that I could get my work done faster and spend more time with my husband and dogs!

Some info about the Intel® Core™ i5 processor:
Thanks to Intel® Turbo Boost Technology,1 the Intel® Core™ i5 processor automatically adapts to
whatever you are doing on your PC, dialing up speed to respond quickly to your needs. The Intel®
Core™ i5 processor: that’s smart performance with a speed boost. The Intel® Core™ i5 processor
also features Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology,2 which enables each core of your processor to
work on two tasks at the same time, delivering the performance you need for smart multitasking.
Don’t let too many open applications slow you and your PC down. Get smart performance now.

I also had a lot of fun using the Intel® Wireless Display which let me pull up my screen on our HDTV! It was actually a lot of fun sitting on the couch and reading through my favorite blogs through our TV instead of the laptop screen. Not sure my husband enjoyed it as much though. LOL!

I keep a notepad next to my bed. Sometimes I wake up and remember something that needs to be done the next day and write it down. When I have a day at home, I try to do laundry while cooking or vacuuming.

Turbo boost = faster processor - has to be faster than the 6 year old desk top I am using. Will make my internet time a lot enjoyable.

Delegate! That is the best way to get a lot done quickly. And don't micro-manage.

I don't multitask very well. When I try, I end up forgetting an important detail.

If I won I would use this towards a blu-ray.

Actually, I really prefer to do one thing at a time. When I have to multitask, I feel like I can’t focus on what I am trying to do…because my brain is still thinking about all the other things that I am doing.

I would love to win. It would help me get work done while on the go.

I'm not a good multi tasker. I try to plan things in advance so I don't forget anything and making a list always helps.

I make daily list the night before to I can get things done quickly and efficiently. I am a huge multi-tasker by combing shopping trips, post office, dropping off dry cleaning etc. I have my day planned out and usually end up driving around in a big circle ending back at home.

To multitask-I have to wake up very early before the rest of my household gets up. I start the laundry, read e-mails, prepare that night's dinner..

It's the way I learned at work from various supervision classes. Also have an updated to do list in front of you. In that way you can start several things at once, and not lose track until they are concluded.

I'm a caffinated multi-tasker who loves to Stream video and from my computer to my Playstation 3, but as it seems I can use this great Intel Core i5 processor and not get the time lags I currently Face!

A list is definitely helpful since I forget everything, but paramount to me is getting enough sleep. I don't even attempt multitasking on less than 5 hours of sleep. Thanks! thebubbledies(at)gmail(dot)com
